Aha Gazelle is the performing alias of William Gazelle Fields, Jr is a well-known rapper, producer from the United States, having been born on September 25, 1993.. Fields spent his teenage years playing drums at his father’s church in addition to teaching himself music production. Aha developed an interest in the piano and learned himself to play by ear, releasing #TeamGMG the following year. He switched from drums to keyboards and started performing at other churches in his hometown of New Orleans. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Grambling State University in 2014.
He started releasing rap mixtapes, beginning with 2014’s Greenbeans & Tuna and he garnered even more notoriety after the release of Free Barabbas in 2015, which included the hits “Gettin’ Money” and “Vegeta,” the latter of which being his most popular track. Lecrae signed Aha to Reach Records in 2017, after keeping a close eye on the budding talent. In 2018, Aha announced his departure from Reach Records to seek other opportunities.
