Amanda Lindsey Cook, also known as Falcon (since 2020), is a Canadian singer, songwriter, pianist and contemporary Christian music recording artist from Niverville, Manitoba. Her maiden name is Amanda Falk, she was born on May 8, 1984. Her first album earned her a Juno Award at the 2006 awards ceremony. Amanda Falk, Beautiful, and In Between the Now & Then are the three albums Cook recorded under her maiden name. Cook became a member of the Bethel Music collective in 2010, and has since released two albums under the Bethel label: Brave New World and House on a Hill.
After her marriage in 2015, she released her fourth long-player, Brave New World, marking her debut in the Canadian and Billboard 200 Top 20.BeautifulBorn Amanda Lindsey Falk in Niverville, Manitoba in 1984, Amanda grew up on a wheat farm, where she was homeschooled. With her song titled “Brave New World”, the Bethel Music label release took home a GMA Dove Award for Inspirational Album of the Year. It not only marked her first appearance near the top of the Billboard Christian chart, but went as high as number 20 on the Billboard 200 and number 18 on Canada’s album chart. Like Brave New World, her second full-length for Bethel, the intimate House on a Hill was recorded with Grammy-winning producers Jason Ingram and Paul Mabury. Cook signed with Essential Worship (Provident/Sony) the following year and made her label debut with the song “Help Is on the Way” in April of 2020.
