Timothy Chukwudi Godfrey was born on August 26, 1980, in Kaduna, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Victor Godfrey who had six (6) children, and he is their second child. He hails from Abia State ,but received his elementary education in Kaduna, Nigeria. In 2018, he received an honorary Doctorate in Fine Art and Musicology from Trinity International University of Ambassadors in Georgia, United States of America.
He’s a music director, songwriter, producer, voice teacher, and life coach, among other things. He has been into music for more than 20 years. He is noted for his uncommon manner of merging contemporary fills into an African mix. His inventive style and approach to music is a deviation from the standard. Tim Godfrey hosts the annual Fearless Gospel Concert, which has featured Marvin Sapp, Kirk Franklin, Travis Greene, Israel Houghton, JJ Hairston, Sammie Okposo, and other worldwide gospel musicians.
